Dear Santa, here goes my grown-up Christmas list 2021

“Christmas is just like a day in the office. You do all the work and the fat guy in a suit gets all the credit.”

Christmas is so much more challenging as you get older. It’s supposed to be the most wonderful time of the year but with the long gift shopping list, endless attending and hosting of social events, drama-filled family reunions, chaotic holiday travel, the harsh winter weather and not to mention the cost of it all… it’s hard to be cheerful.

So, before I get on my fancy Christmas anxiety, just once I’d like to be a kid again, sitting on Santa’s lap and sharing to him what I want for Christmas.

1. No more COVID, or variants Delta, Omicron, and God knows what’s comes next.
2. No more misinformation surrounding covid, covid vaccines, 2020 election results, etc.
3. No more supply chain disruption.
4. Smoother air travel, especially during the holiday season.
5. Student loan forgiveness or extension of pause on student loan payments.
6. Comprehensive immigration reform to solve the labor crisis.
7. Rent control and more affordable housing.
8. Childcare subsidies to working class families.
9. Lower gas prices.
